PRIVACY NOTICE
Your information, clearly explained.
This notice explains what happens to the information you share when you send an enquiry through reverseosmosis.online.
Who is responsible
Your information is handled by Reverse Osmosis Malta, the business behind reverseosmosis.online, serving customers across Malta and Gozo. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, locality, phone number and/or email, whether the enquiry is for a home or business, the service you need, and any details about your property or current system. To protect the form from spam we also keep a one-way scrambled version of your IP address, which cannot be turned back into the address, and the date and time of your enquiry.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation. These are steps you ask us to take before any agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To carry out and invoice work you book. This is needed to perform our agreement with you and to keep the records tax law requires (Article 6(1)(b) and (c)).
- To keep the form free of spam, a legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your information for marketing, and we never sell or share it for anyone else's marketing.
Where it goes
- Cloudflare hosts this website, stores enquiries in a secure database and delivers the notification email, under its privacy policy.
- Google (Gmail) is where we receive the notification email, under its privacy policy.
- If we work with an installation partner on your job, we share only the details needed to quote for or carry out that job.
This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers. Its fonts are served from the website itself.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once they are no longer needed to deal with your enquiry. Records of work and invoices are kept for as long as Maltese tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how we use it, or receive a copy. Email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC).
